As part of the NSW Government's plan to rebuild public education, the 2024-25 Budget is delivering record education funding, including $8.9 billion for new and upgraded schools. This targeted investment will ensure growing communities get access to a world class public education.
A project is underway to provide Ryde Secondary College with new and upgraded learning spaces to accommodate increasing enrolments at the school.

Work on the pavilion building has now finished.
We have also finished work on the school’s 3 new covered outdoor learning areas (COLAs).
Upgrades to improve the existing school’s facilities and functionality are underway.
The schematic design of the internal refurbishment of buildings E (Science/ Staff), F (Library), G (Multi-Purpose Facilities), and I (Performance and Computer Learning) is complete and preparation for construction procurement is underway.
The design for buildings B, C and D was completed. Works to refurbish buildings B (Technological & Applied Studies) and D (General/Science Learning/Art) started on Monday 25 November 2024.
The demolition and ceiling and wall framework were completed for both buildings B and D over the holidays.
The nine classrooms across buildings B and D delivered for Day 1 Term 1 2025 include science rooms, art rooms, support unit, woodwork room, and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) room.
