Our plan to rebuild public education
As part of the NSW Government's plan to rebuild public education, the 2024-25 Budget is delivering record education funding, including $8.9 billion for new and upgraded schools. This targeted investment will ensure growing communities get access to a world class public education.
This substantial funding acts on the findings of the Enrolment Growth Audit, ensuring growing communities get access to world-class educational facilities.
It also delivers record funding for maintenance and local upgrades, working through a multi-year backlog of projects previously committed to schools.
Local School Upgrades
With record funding, we are now working collaboratively with schools to address a multi-year backlog of projects previously committed to NSW public schools. For any questions, talk to your school principal or P&C, or reach out to School Infrastructure NSW.
