As part of the NSW Government's plan to rebuild essential services, the 2023-24 Budget is delivering a record $8.8 billion for new and upgraded schools. This targeted investment in growing communities will ensure working families get access to a world class public education.

The Millthorpe Public School upgrade is now complete and ready for students and staff to use.

The upgrade brings students the latest educational facilities and supports the growing local community.

The benefits

  • a new two-storey learning hub including:
    • 10 new modern flexible classrooms
    • a new library
    • maker spaces
  • an upgrade to existing buildings with improved administration area and a new staff room
  • an internal renovation of the heritage infants block
  • new covered walkway
  •  an upgraded covered outdoor learning area (COLA) 
  • additional roof cover outside the hall and canteen building.
