As part of the NSW Government's plan to rebuild public education, the NSW Budget is delivering record education funding, including $9 billion for new and upgraded schools. This targeted investment will ensure growing communities get access to a world class public education.

Construction is underway for Macquarie Park Public School to meet anticipated enrolment growth in the area.

The school will accommodate 750 students from Kindergarten to Year 6.

Midtown is a new urban neighbourhood being built on the site of the former Ivanhoe Estate in Macquarie Park that will include social, affordable and private housing, community facilities, retail, and green space.

Enrolments are now open for students starting Day 1 Term 1 2027.

Construction progress summary

We have finished the topping slab and the steel structure for the roof and work on the building’s façade is almost finished. Inside the building, the internal dividing walls are almost finished and we are continuing to install the ceilings across all building levels. The tower crane has been removed from the site.
