The NSW Government is investing $6 billion over the next four years to deliver more than 170 new and upgraded schools to support communities across NSW. In addition, a record $1.3 billion is being spent on school maintenance over four years, along with a record $500 million for the sustainable Cooler Classrooms program to provide air conditioning to schools. This is the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW.
An upgrade is being planned for Killarney Heights Public School. The Northern Beaches local government area is currently experiencing unprecedented growth which has led to the requirement to expand the Killarney Heights Public School. The project will include:
seven new permanent teaching spaces
a special programs room
removal of the concrete dome
teaching spaces for 750 students.
The design and construct contract tender has been awarded.
Detailed design is progressing.
Complete detailed design.
Preparation for demolition of the concrete dome.
