Killarney Heights public school upgrade tender opens

Students and teachers at Killarney Heights Public School will benefit from an exciting upgrade that will provide new permanent modern and flexible classrooms funded by the NSW Government.

Works will now go to tender for the upgrade, which will include the construction of seven new classrooms, special programs room and landscaping works.

The upgrade will allow for the removal of demountable classrooms and a concrete dome on the site, freeing up play space on the school grounds for students to enjoy.

Member for Wakehurst Brad Hazzard welcomed the project reaching thisexciting next stage.

“We want our children to have the best education possible, and this project will help deliver the high quality education our children deserve,” Mr Hazzard said.

“I’m pleased the NSW Government is delivering this important project.”

Education Minister Rob Stokes said the NSW Government was working hard to deliver high quality facilities for students and communities.

“This project will give students the resources they need to succeed in the 21stcentury,” Rob Stokes said.
