The benefits
A project to upgrade Punchbowl Public School is currently in construction.
The project includes a new two storey building facing Rossmore Avenue and refurbishment work to the existing administration building. The upgrade includes:
10 new classrooms
Secure entrance on Rossmore Avenue with separate public and student administration entrances
Relocation of Support Unit to existing administration building
Refurbishment of early intervention spaces.

We are excited to deliver the new Block N as part of the upgrade to Punchbowl Public School and now ready for students and staff to learn, teach and thrive in.
Next steps
In addition to the works to refurbish Block A and convert the existing Administration area into a Support Learning Unit, further minor work to marry-in the new Block N to the existing school will be carried out.

What are the construction hours for this project?
The standard construction hours for this project are 7 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday and 8 am to 4 pm Saturday. No work will take place on Sunday or public holidays, unless otherwise notified.

You are invited to attend a community information session to find out more about the Punchbowl Public School upgrade project including demolition and construction next steps. A Bengali and Arabic translator will be available from 3-5pm. To give us an idea of numbers and ensure we can speak with all attendees, please register your attendance for a time slot below.
