We are pleased to announce that the contract tender for the main works has been awarded to Stephen Edwards Constructions, and as per the November 2025 notification, site establishment works for demolition and main works construction has commenced and is expected to be completed in early December 2025. This includes:
- erecting fencing and site hoarding around the perimeter of the main works site
- setting up site office sheds and facilities for the workers including walkways and amenities
- establishing temporary power and water supply to the site
Next steps
The demolition of Block A is expected to be completed by January 2026, weather permitting. The start of main works construction is expected to begin in early 2026 and will continue throughout the school year. Main works construction will be separated by hoarding, and we will continue to work with school leadership to minimise impacts to the school community.
