As part of the NSW Government’s plan to rebuild public education, the 2024-25 Budget is delivering record education funding, including a historic $1.4 billion for new and upgraded schools in regional NSW. This targeted investment will ensure growing communities get access to a world class public education.

The Department of Education is committed to providing educational facilities that meet the needs of children and young people with disabilities and reduce the impact of disadvantage on their families and the broader community.

We are upgrading the Moruya High School Support Unit to better support students with disabilities and other special needs.

The benefits

  • Construction of a new fit‐for‐purpose Support Unit at Moruya High School is a priority for the Department to help ensure all students enrolled have the same opportunity to achieve their educational outcomes.
  • Specifically, the project will replace the existing demountables with a future focused Support Unit that will cater to the needs of students.
