Samuel Gilbert Public School upgrade completed project

The upgrade to Samuel Gilbert Public School is now finished and operational  providing the latest education facilities to the student community. The upgrade includes the construction of a new three storey building and modifications to existing buildings. 

As more than 12 months have passed since the start of operations for this project, all state significant development (SSD) reports have been archived.

The benefits

  • 25 additional new permanent learning spaces.
  • A new library.
  • A new hall (with separate access for community use).
  • New staff and administration facilities.
  • Creation of a new connection to the existing campus.
  • Removal of demountable classrooms.
