A public preschool with capacity for up to 40 children per day, and up to 80 children across the week.

Gulyangarri Public Preschool is complete and is the first of the 100 new public preschools to open, as part of NSW Government’s commitment to boost access to preschool across the state.

What are flexible learning environments?

Flexible learning environments are designed to facilitate learning that strives for the best possible outcomes for students and develops skills critical to thrive in an increasingly complex world. These learning spaces are flexible and well-resourced so that teachers can design a wide range of learning activities to develop the skills and knowledge of students. Learning is tailored to suit the needs and interests of students allowing them to learn at their own pace and demonstrate their learning in different ways.

What does a State Significant Development (SSD) application include?

The SSD application is submitted to the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment and will consist of an Environmental Impact Statement including:

A heritage impact statement and assessment
A transport and accessibility impact assessment
Assessment of noise and vibration impacts

Public school students return to new and upgraded classrooms

The NSW Government has delivered 18 new and upgraded schools in time for the start of Term 1.

Gulyangarri Public School recognises and acknowledges Aboriginal history not only in its name and design but also in its development.

School enrolments and intake area

The intake (catchment) area for Gulyangarri Public School has been finalised. If you live within the intake area of Gulyangarri Public School, you can enrol your child for the 2024 school year by following this link https://ehub.enrol.education.nsw.gov.au/schoolenrolment/?schoolCode=4687

Due to the opening of the new Gulyangarri Public School, the school intake areas of Liverpool Public School, Marsden Road Public School and Warwick Farm Public School have been adjusted. Visit schoolfinder.education.nsw.gov.au to view a map of the intake area.

Transition to School Play Sessions

Gulyangarri Public School invites students who are starting Kindergarten in 2024 to the weekly Transition to School Play Sessions. This is a free play-based learning session to meet other families and future classmates and make friends while preparing for Kindergarten in 2024. This is a collaborative program with Liverpool Boys and Girls High Schools, and children can attend with their parents/carers. Community Information Session

Join us at the upcoming information session where you can meet the staff for Gulyangarri Public School and talk to them about the new school and how you can be part of the school community. This is also an opportunity to get an update about the upcoming activities such as the school logo and uniform, ask questions and discuss any volunteering options with the school. All sessions will be the same to provide more options for people to be able to attend.
