The Ponds High School
The Ponds High School was established in 2015 and is located in the suburb of The Ponds in the north-west of Sydney. Since its establishment, The Ponds High School has grown rapidly and currently has around 2400 students in Years 7-12, 2026. Sharing a site with Riverbank Public school, The Ponds High School is part of an energetic community with an innovative approach to teaching and learning including being a STEM leader in Western Sydney. The school has an extensive range of outstanding teaching and learning programs and includes: a strong welfare approach to student wellbeing, support for the creative and performing arts and ongoing success in a range of sporting endeavours. The school is committed to promoting a diverse and culturally inclusive environment. The Ponds High School has a small inclusion and support unit and High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) classes in each year (year 7 – 10) with accelerated HSC offerings for the senior years. The school embraces a holistic and inclusive approach to teaching and learning.
