As part of the NSW Government's plan to rebuild public education, the NSW Budget is delivering $4.1 billion for new and upgraded schools in Western Sydney. This targeted investment will ensure growing communities get access to a world class public education.

The Ponds High School upgrade
The benefits
The Ponds High School upgrade will deliver:
- 51 classrooms, including 31 general classrooms, 3 support classrooms and 8 specialist classrooms
- specialist facilities including a VET kitchen, science labs and wood and metal workshops
- a lecture theatre
- an extension to the northern car park for 50 additional car spaces
- an upgrade of the sports field
- new cricket nets.
The new permanent spaces will allow for dozens of demountable classrooms to be removed from the school site.
