Narara Valley High School
Narara Valley is a large, energetic, motivated and comprehensive high school catering for students of all abilities with a valued School Support Unit. The school has a reputation in the community for its strong focus on student welfare and discipline, and recognition of student achievement through praise and reward. The school has an innovative curriculum which caters for individual student needs. Programs include a Stage 4 integrated curriculum, as well as a Gifted and Talented class that allows for acceleration. Specialist Creative and Performing Arts classes and a Targeted Sports Program are also offered. Stage 6 students can select from both academic and vocational pathways through a broad range of subject offerings and opportunities including TVET, SVET and SBAT's. Learning facilities at the school are exemplary and ever improving with a focus on the implementation of new and existing technologies. The school is seen as a thriving learning environment by the surrounding community, a community where parents, staff and students work together with a common goal, to achieve both personal and group success, while undertaking social and cultural development. Nothing reflects these ideals more than the school motto 'Learning For The Future'. This is achieved through the collaborative efforts and continued support of the entire school community.
