Terrigal High School
Terrigal High School is one of the largest co-educational, comprehensive schools on the Central Coast. The school's location on Charles Kay Drive allows easy access to Duffys Road Oval, Gosford City Basketball Stadium, Terrigal beach and its adjacent rock platform. These venues are all utilised to provide students with the opportunity to achieve their best educational outcomes. The school seeks to ensure a quality, balanced, comprehensive educational program for all students. It has an established record of excellence in both academic and sporting pursuits as well as a reputation for high quality programs in the creative and performing arts. Terrigal High School provides a sound formal education based around a broad academic curriculum, a wide ranging complementary curriculum, including TVET and SVET courses and a very effective welfare program which actively promotes recognition of positive achievement. The school has a unique senior organisational pattern and enjoys a positive community profile. Students can participate in a wide range of extra- curricular activities which include the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, Rock Eisteddfod and exchanges to schools in Japan and Italy.
