Warialda High School

Warialda High School has an enrolment of 200 full-time students and approximately thirty part-time mature-aged students. The school draws students from the township of Warialda, as well as from surrounding villages and properties up to eighty kilometres away. The Warialda High community strives to guide individuals towards independent and responsible citizenship by providing a balanced and relevant curriculum within a caring and stimulating school environment. The school offers the widest possible range of subjects to prepare students for life after school, whether in the work force, at university, or in other learning contexts. Many students graduate with the dual accreditation of a Higher School Certificate and industry-recognised competencies. Our students are given many opportunities to participate in academic, cultural, vocational and sporting activities at all levels and all learning is valued. Quality Teaching is a focus across the school. An active Parents and Citizens Association provides positive input into decision-making processes. The school, its primary partners and the community maintain a close and mutually supportive relationship in all facets of learning.
