Kanahooka High School
Kanahooka High School is a comprehensive secondary school, established in 1974, situated in East Dapto. The school is a proud member of the Dapto Learning Community and has an excellent reputation for innovative student services initiatives, sound academic and sporting achievement. Kanahooka High School enjoys a close relationship with the local community and receives Priority Schools Program funding and staffing. Kanahooka High School is a school which has a well developed curriculum catering for the individual and diverse needs of its students. The school implements student wellbeing skills and literacy and numeracy foundations skills programs, as well as an exciting enrichment program for students in Stage 4. The school maintains a rigorous focus on quality teaching, student engagement and retention, Aboriginal Education and Training and connected learning. Student interests and aptitudes are supported by a wide variety of extra curricular activities and a highly professional and dedicated teaching and non teaching staff.
