Sydney Secondary College is an innovative multi-campus public education facility. The college caters for all learners with an academically selective stream, comprehensive stream and support classes for students with disabilities. The core values of the college are based on quality teaching which engages students from a multiplicity of national and religious backgrounds and creates the opportunity for real-life learning and authentic experiences. Balmain Campus provides sixty selective places for students in each year. Enrichment classes allow students to work with like-minded cohorts, and a focused middle schools approach incorporating cross-faculty rich tasks and scaffolded learning frameworks is value-adding to student learning outcomes.
