Heathcote High School

Heathcote High is a co- educational, comprehensive community school set in a quiet location, close to the Royal National Park. This spacious, bushland setting is an appealing backdrop to the quality education opportunities on offer at our school. We pride ourselves on our diverse curriculum, outstanding technology facilities and talented, dedicated staff ensuring quality teaching and learning programs. We have been recognised at a regional and state level for our gifted and talented, welfare and student leadership programs. We have a Physical Support Unit, an autism class and a long tradition of academic, sporting and performing arts achievements. We provide a range of opportunities for students to participate in extra-curricular activities including the Rock Eisteddfod and Duke of Edinburgh outdoor education program. Our restorative practice philosophy fosters lifelong learning and the development of positive relationships, social responsibility and care of others and our world. A strong bond exists with our partner primary schools and surrounding community. At Heathcote we have high expectations of our students. Our school vision is reflected in our banner statement or excellence, opportunity and success for all our students.
