Orange Public School

Students of Orange Public School benefit from the diversity provided by our large enrolment and from the many and varied opportunities offered by our experienced and dedicated staff. The school has a focus on positive learning and behaviour and has established the school-wide expectations for all to be respectful, responsible, honest and cooperative. Additional to literacy and numeracy, the school provides a comprehensive curriculum coverage. Gifted and talented and technology in learning have a high priority. The school offers all students the opportunity to participate in stages one, two and three choir, beginner, transition and concert bands, string orchestra, musical productions, dance, sporting teams, public speaking, debating, Tournament of the Minds, University Competitions and excursions. Participation in community activities include the ANZAC Day march, Orange Show, NAIDOC activities and instrumental, choirs, dance and verse speaking at the Orange Eisteddfod. The school has very active parent body that supports the school in many ways and raises large sums of money to assist in purchasing teaching resources so that the best possible education can be provided for the children.
