Wilson Park School

Wilson Park Public School is a School for Specific Purposes located in Lismore catering for the educational learning needs of students with a disability aged from 4 to 18 years of age. The school provides an inclusive curriculum across key learning areas for students from Kindergarten to Year 12. Every student has an individual educational program detailed by the teacher. In the planning process the family and the school determine the priorities for the year. Student achievements are reported in learning outcomes twice a year. Student learning, and parent engagement in the school programs, is supported by the Priority Schools Funding Program. A key element of the culture of the school is the school expectations to be co-operative, responsible, respectful and peaceful. Wilson Park Public School staff includes teachers and School Learning Support Officers all with extensive experience and a strong philosophy of good practice. Parent involvement at the school is active and positive and the school has support from a number of community organisations. At Wilson Park Public School students are keen to learn, parents are supportive, and staff work as members of a team.
