Glenvale School
Glenvale School plays an important and unique role in providing special education services to students from across the central coast district whose special needs cannot be adequately met in regular school settings. The school's primary purpose is to provide programs for students from four to eighteen years of age with moderate to severe intellectual disability. Students are accommodated across two campuses, one located at Narara and the other at North Entrance. The school also has a satellite class based at Valley View Public School. Glenvale School has an important secondary role as a resource centre and home base for a support team providing integration and transition outreach support services to schools across the central coast. For all students enrolled at the school, our aim is to develop, within a caring and supportive environment, the knowledge, skills and behaviours that they need to participate in life as fully and independently as possible.
