Mulyan Public School
Mulyan Public School maintains and fosters excellence through academic, social, emotional, physical and behaviour programs. Students are encouraged to Aim High in all areas of endeavour and commit themselves to achieving their personal best. The school crest proudly boasts the eagle at its centre which supports the school motto - Aim High. At Mulyan we are concerned with the development of the whole child. This involves physical, intellectual, emotional and social development. The school monitors student achievement in the areas of academia, citizenship, work habits, personal and social domains. Information about students' progress is based upon continual assessments and observations made by classroom teachers. The school has a proud academic, cultural and sporting history with many regional and state achievements in these areas. Mulyan Public School is an active participant in the social fabric of Cowra with our students being a part of many local activities that extend beyond the school. As well as focussing on Literacy and Numeracy there is also a strong focus on Physical Activity and Creative and Performing Arts, all of which contribute to the education of well-rounded students.
We recognise the Ongoing Custodians of the lands and waterways where we work and live. We pay respect to Elders past and present as ongoing teachers of knowledge, songlines and stories. We strive to ensure every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learner in NSW achieves their potential through education.
