William Bayldon Public School
William Bayldon Public School has an enrolment of 198, with 35% of our student population being Aboriginal students. The school has a well-equipped Support Unit which caters for 25 students with disabilities. We have a newly established Multi Categorical (MC) class supporting students with special needs, including mental health issues. The Special Support Unit is one of four Support Units that are a Regional resource providing a service to students and families from the Mid North Coast area. The school's culture has an embedded focus on literacy and numeracy with a particular emphasis in the early years.The school has been a 'KidsMatter' school for 4 years and the program is implemented across the whole school. This program is recognised and valued by our families.The school is accredited Sunsafe and the P&C has recently updated the school hats to encourage all students to wear appropriate protection. We are also recognised as a 'Live Life Well' and 'Crunch and Sip' school. Our vision for William Bayldon Public School drives our Strategic Directions and day to day practices. At William Bayldon we ensure all our learners are 21st Century learners who will reach their potential through engagement, high academic expectations and pride in learning.
