Glenmore Park Public School
Glenmore Park Public School was established in 1997 and is situated in an expanding residential area three kilometres south of Penrith. The school offers a modern range of facilities that caters for all student needs. The airconditioned and well resourced classrooms provide stimulating and comfortable learning environments. At Glenmore Park we offer students a safe, inclusive and nuturing environment that develops as its core values, respect, responsibility, excellence and co-operation. An effective welfare and strong discipline program focuses on social skills, decision making and citizenship. Through our strong academic program and rich learning environment students develop the skills, knowledge and values to lead fulfilling lives in the future. As well, we actively encourage students to participate in many interschool activities such as sport, regional and district performing arts festivals, public speaking and debating competitions and national and international competitions. As a welcoming and friendly school we believe in developing positive relationships between school and home. Parents/Carers are always encouraged to be active participants in their child's learning and in school programs. We value the contributions made by our school, by our parents/carers and members of the local community.
We recognise the Ongoing Custodians of the lands and waterways where we work and live. We pay respect to Elders past and present as ongoing teachers of knowledge, songlines and stories.
