Eastlakes Public School
Eastlakes Public School, established in 1944, is located in eastern Sydney and is set in large grounds with grass playing fields and recreational areas. The school provides a comprehensive education for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. All programs are underpinned by excellence and equity supporting all learners to achieve personal success. Promoting the learning, wellbeing and safety of all students is a high priority for Eastlakes Public School. We implement Positive Behaviour for Learning, a whole school systems approach to support the development of skills to meet school expectations for being respectful, responsible learners. Experienced and dedicated teachers continually update and extend their pedagogical knowledge and practice through high quality professional learning. The school environment is inclusive and harmonious, and reflects the culturally diverse community it serves. Students are at the centre of all decision making; we know that every child can learn and they learn at different rates and in different ways. We work closely with parents and carers to ensure every student's needs are met through differentiating the curriculum, providing challenging opportunities and engaging students in meaningful and authentic learning experiences. Eastlakes Public School is committed to promoting diverse student achievement through the key learning areas and extra-curricular opportunities. We are proudly part of our community and our collaborative partnerships with parents and carers, local organisations and businesses support us in maximising student outcomes.
