Dulwich Hill Public School serves a diverse, socio-economic and multicultural community in inner-western Sydney. The school is committed to meeting the needs of individual students and strives to achieve excellence and equity in all program areas. Specialist programs include music, dance/drama, community languages and information and communication technology. The school strives to prepare students for future success through fostering and teaching the values and skills necessary to contribute positively to the community as young adults. Emphasis is placed on qualities such as perseverence, self discipline, self confidence, social responsibility, the ability to communicate effectively, work collaboratively with others and resolve conflict in positive ways. It is believed that these values and skills promote a sense of citizenship, student leadership, a belief in social justice and an understanding of and commitment to procedural fairness.
