Kingswood South Public School

The core values of our school are 'Be Safe, Be a Learner and Be Respectful'. Our school is committed to providing a quality education for every student where the school's core values are paramount. Kingswood South Public School is a part of the Priority Schools Program. Our school caters for students from preschool through to Year 6. We have a student population of approximately 340. The school has a strong commitment to student achievement in an environment where students and the community support the values through the program Positive Behaviour for Learning. We also have an Early Intervention support class for pre-school age children with learning disabilities. In addition, the school is the base for a Vision Support Team, a Hearing Support Team and a District Guidance Officer. The critical education basics of literacy, numeracy and technology are a focus for the school. The school offers a wide range of extension activities to enrich student learning. We recognise that engaging students with their learning and integrating Information and Communication Technology are essential ingredients for a quality education in the 21st century.
