Narrandera East Infants School
Established in 1961, Narrandera East is a modern co-educational Infants School with a long tradition of providing quality specialised education for students from Kindergarten to Year 2 in a stimulating and caring environment. The school's statement of purpose, 'Providing Excellence in Early Learning', was developed by staff and parents in consultation with the Parent's and Citizen's Association. Narrandera East is the only separate infants school in the Riverina and is widely regarded as a progressive country school with very nurturing and encouraging values. The school has been recognised for its outstanding academic achievements brought about by a team of teachers and staff dedicated to a culture of constant improvement. The curriculum focuses heavily on Literacy, Numeracy and Technology and all staff adhere to the Quality Teaching Framework. Boasting excellent facilities Narrandera East Infants also has extensive and beautiful grounds planted with many Australian native trees and shrubs. Parent participation and involvement is a strong feature of the school which operates an 'Open Door' Policy where parents and friends are welcome to visit at any time.
