Condell Park Public School is a vibrant and caring learning community. The school's community is diverse, with the majority of families having a first language other than English (91%). The staff, students and parents embrace the school motto, 'Dream and Believe, Learn and Achieve'. Our belief in fostering the social and academic development of all students is demonstrated by the provision of high quality education programs and a consistent welfare system. Our dedicated and experienced staff competently deliver excellent teaching and learning programs and lead students to become, socially aware and technologically literate citizens of the 21st Century. We have a particular focus is on integrating technology across all curriculum areas and have employed a "techspert" to ensure the capacity of both students and teachers is improved. Students access a variety of online programs and apps designed to engage and enhance their learning. Stage 2 and 3 students participate in a BYOD program targeted at improving the student's skills in ICT and collaborative learning experiences. New 'Tech Clubs', 'Coding Clubs' and the 'Media Team' are exciting opportunities for students to explore technology in a real-world context. All learning experiences are NSW syllabus based and we have the added benefit of being part of the Early Action for Success program, that ensures a high level of teacher professional learning in research based practices. Students of Arabic or Vietnamese backgrounds participate in weekly community language programs. All students are encouraged to take part in extra-curricular activities which include dance, choir, debating, art, drama, gardening and the Active After School Communities program. Teachers take great care in providing a physically stimulating learning environment. Dedicated staff are aware of 21st Century flexible learning spaces and actively encourage students to adapt their learning to a flexible environment. As a result, multiple classes adhere to the flexible learning ideology and provide students with appropriate furniture, including a fully refurbished library. Students have access to a modern hall and COLA, playground equipment, a fitness track, futsal field and multipurpose sport court.
