Woolgoolga Public School believes equity, access and excellence are important for all. Therefore all students are provided with as many opportunities as possible, including full participation in the NAPLAN testing program. Woolgoolga Public School is located on the North Coast of NSW. Enrolment is currently 350 students of which 20% are Punjabi/Indian and a further 10% are of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background. African refugee students are also a feature of our enrolment profile.Literacy, Numeracy and Quality Teaching are a constant focus for the school.The end of the 2012 school year brings about the conclusion of our involvement in the National Partnership program. Specialist programs in the school include band, instrumental music, choir, public speaking and debating. In addition to these programs we provide extension programs for students with particular talents (e.g. Science, Music, Literacy and Maths) and a comprehensive support program for students with special needs, including a specialist English as a Second Language program. We have a Punjabi Community Language program for all students. The school motto 'Learning, Caring, Sharing' continues to prepare students to meet the challenges of the future.
