Tighes Hill Public School has an enrolment of 370 students and is located in an inner city suburb of Newcastle in the Hunter Region of New South Wales. The school is committed to Language, Learning and Literacy (L3), Focus on Reading (FoR), Targeting Early Numeracy (TEN), English as a Second Language, Kindy Club (a weekly pre-Kindergarten school preparation program), Band & Music tuition, School Aerobics, Sporting teams and individual plans for supported students.
