Sawtell Public School
Sawtell Public School is a focal point for its community on the mid north coast of NSW. The school provides outstanding academic and social programs that enable children to fulfil their potential as students and citizens. Our priority is for students to be happy at school. Sawtell prides itself on being a school of opportunity, and participation in all aspects of school life is expected - the school motto 'Play the Game' is embedded in the school philosophy. Tradition and traditional values are recognised and reinforced through the school's culture. Individuality is developed and expressed through a strong creative arts program. Teamwork is promoted via a range of sporting opportunities. Outdoor learning activities and an extensive excursion program develop our students' knowledge of their environment. We aim to produce caring, capable citizens who will continue to abide by the school's values as they take their place in the wider community.
We recognise the Ongoing Custodians of the lands and waterways where we work and live. We pay respect to Elders past and present as ongoing teachers of knowledge, songlines and stories.
