Millthorpe Public School

Millthorpe Public School is the only school in the picturesque village of Millthorpe. The enrolment of approximately 300 students comes from families who live within the village and surrounding farms. Both the school and village are noted for their beauty and historical significance. The community is proud of its school and its village. The school's aim is to provide a sound education with strong programs in all key learning areas and a balance of academic, cultural and sporting opportunities. Millthorpe Public School frequently records above average results in the National Testing Program. Academic achievement and expectations are high. Student welfare is a high priority, achieved through providing a safe, inclusive and happy environment, programs of work approriate to the student's stages of development and exciting, stimulating activities. Co-operation between staff, parents and the wider community is regarded as a vital component for our success. Millthorpe Public School provides opportunity for a range of enrichment activities such as music education, in band, violin, piano, guitar and drumkit, and percussion, chess, debating, ballet and academic advancement. Millthorpe Public School offers a choice of Scripture and Ethics education. After-School Care is available five afternoons per week, from 3pm till 6pm.
