Macksville Public School

Our school is situated in Macksville, which is a North Coast town on the banks of the Nambucca River, 12 kilometres from the mouth of the river. Macksville has a population of 4000 and is the political centre of the Nambucca Shire. Our school was established in 1875 and some of the original buildings (on the current site), still in use, are of historical significance. At Macksville Public School we strive for excellence and the acceptance of responsibility through the provision of a happy, secure, attractive and caring environment.
