Forest Lodge Public School
Forest Lodge Public School was established in 1883. It enjoys a reputation for producing students with high academic results, excellence in literacy and numeracy teaching, an emphasis on the visual and performing arts, and a strong and caring support for students' welfare needs. The school recognises the cultural and socio-economic diversity of its community, striving for excellence and tolerance. Our school ethos places emphasis on caring for individual needs in a safe, active and high-interest learning environment. Forest Lodge Public School is a happy school where students show respect, tolerance and understanding of individual differences and where the academic and creative potential of each student is fostered in a climate of responsibility and the pursuit of excellence. The school has an active and very supportive Parents and Citizens Association and offers a variety of programs including children's philosophy, choir, band, public speaking and debating, participation in external academic and arts competitions, dance, gymnastics and a differentiated curriculum for gifted and talented students.
