Empire Bay Public School

Empire Bay Public School is located on the Central Coast of NSW and has an enrolment of approximately 450 students. The core values of the school are respect, responsibility and building positive relationships and this is reflected in the school motto, 'Learning to Live'. The school's mission is to provide exemplary academic, cultural and sporting programs to students being delivered by dedicated & well-trained professionals. The school utilises the Positive Behaviour for Learning welfare system which reinforces our core values - Be Respectful, Be Responsibile and Be Safe. The school has a highly effective Learning Support Team in place, including a school chaplaincy program, to ensure that all students achieve to their full potential. Positive student behaviour is continually acknowledged and rewarded. It implements Quality Teaching strategies through its Literacy and Numeracy programs, such as L3, Focus on Reading and a Middle School Strategy which is supported by a Curriculum Leader within the school. Some unique features of the school are the Annual School Performing Arts Musical which is a highlight of the school year, showcasing the talents of the students who participate and the staff members who produce this fantastic event. Our school supports other important student initiatives such as; a school band program, the DEC approved Ethics program, a strong environmental program and an innovative digital learning program. The school values community participation and continues to focus on ways to further strengthen community engagement.
