Dural Public School

Established in 1869, Dural Public School is committed to strive for success and to encourage each child to reach his or her potential. Together, the staff, the students and the school community strive to enable our students to be confident, caring, articulate and socially and environmentally aware. This prepares them to be responsible citizens in the 21st Century. Our school community comes from a range of socio-economic and cultural backgrounds. The students participate in many programs beyond the academic curriculum. The school offers a variety of opportunities for participation in sport, the environment and the performing arts. Each of these areas contributes to the lifelong learning in which the students at Dural P.S. engage throughout their schooling. The school strongly promotes Values Education. Our staff ranges in experience and expertise. Specialist teaching staff support programs in a range of areas across the school, including the Teacher Librarian, a specialist Art teacher, and Learning Support and Learning Extension teachers. All teachers have academic qualifications and meet the professional teaching requirements for teaching in NSW public schools.
