Bobin Public School
Bobin Public School is a one-teacher school in a beautiful rural setting. Our mission statement, 'Grow to be tolerant life-long learners,' drives all aspects within our learning community. The core values of the school aim to provide students with opportunities to learn and mature through a caring, tolerant, positive and stimulating environment. A school behaviour code has been developed by parents, students and staff in which students are encouraged to take responsiblity for their own actions. Bobin is strongly supported by parents, staff and community who are actively involved in all aspects of the school. Bobin Public School has a strong focus on information and communication technology and every child has access to their own computer which allows students to use interactive technology on a regular basis to support their learning. The school uses part of its Global Funding to allow two classes to operate on a multi-grade basis, allowing students to work individually, in small, cohesive groups and in whole-class situations. We have a strong focus on literacy and numeracy which is incorporated across all Key Learning Areas. There is an emphasis on providing a wide range of sporting and cultural activities.
