Bargo Public School

Bargo Public School is situated in a small town on the southern fringe of the Wollondilly Shire, 35 kilometres from Campbelltown. The school was established in 1869, with development on the current site beginning in 1918. Our school exists to nurture the growth of the whole child, enabling students to reach their full potential for life in a rapidly changing society. In partnership with parents, we endeavour to create a safe, secure, caring and attractive learning environment and provide stimulating, enriching and relevant learning experiences. We expect students to perform to the best of their ability. We set high expectations for student behaviour. Bargo Public School has a long history of catering for the individual differences in children, incorporating early literacy initiatives and information communicative technologies. The school engages in significant environmental education programs including sustainable living initiatives and environmental learning areas. The staff is committed to a comprehensive professional learning program that endeavours to increase student engagement and result in improved student learning outcomes. Experienced staff work along side erly career teachers to raise the educational standards of all students.
