Abermain Public School
Abermain Public School is situated in Abermain, East of Cessnock in the Hunter Valley. The school currently has 294 students and a staff committed to improving educational outcomes for students. Abermain Public School is an active member of the Cessnock Community of Great Public Schools, involving fifteen public schools serving the Cessnock community. Abermain Public School is a White Ribbon and Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) school that fosters respect within the school and community as a core value. Staff provide quality activities for all students that are stimulating and engaging to ensure all students achieve to their potential. The leadership team and staff are actively implementing a range of initiatives to support the Australian Curriculum including Language, Learning and Literacy (L3) , Project Based Learning and early transition programs. Abermain Public School prides itself on being an inclusive, future focused learning envirnoment.
