As part of the NSW Government's plan to rebuild public education, the 2024-25 Budget is delivering record education funding, including $1.4 billion for new and upgraded schools in regional NSW. This targeted investment will ensure growing communities get access to a world class public education.
The upgrade of Murwillumbah High School is continuing following the return of students and teachers to the school on Day 1 Term 1 2025.
The upgrade is providing significantly improved classrooms and specialist learning spaces with new paint, floor coverings, energy-efficient LED lighting, air conditioning, furniture, fittings, and equipment.
