Brand new North Kellyville Public School set to open

Release date: 26 January 2019

The new North Kellyville Public School will open its doors to students and teachers for the first time this week.

Stage 1 of the $44 million project includes 20 brand new classrooms, a new hall, library, covered outdoor learning spaces, and a range of play and sporting facilities.

All classrooms will be air conditioned as part of the NSW Government’s Cooler Classrooms program that is seeing air conditioning delivered in thousands of classrooms across the State.

Works will be continuing on the second stage of the project to provide additional classrooms to enable the school to accommodate up to 1,000 students.

North Kellyville Public School is one of 17 new and upgraded schools opening across NSW on the first day of term.

The NSW Government is investing $6 billion over four years to deliver more than 170 new and upgraded schools to support communities across NSW. In addition, $847 million is being spent on school maintenance over four years.
