Share Our Space Term Time Trial
Our popular school holiday Share Our Space program is growing!
For the past seven years, we’ve been opening our public schools to local communities during the school holidays as part of our Share Our Space program.
Now families, neighbours and communities can also enjoy the outdoor opportunites our schools provide EVERY WEEK through our Share Our Space Term Time Trial.
Through the Share Our Space Term Time Trial we are opening our schools for personal, casual recreation outside of school hours to get a better understanding of the demand for more play space in local communities.
Our schools are designed to ensure every child and young person can engage in both physical and academic learning and development, and our outdoor spaces a key to this goal.
The NSW Government is proud of the quality of its facilities available across the state’s public schools, and is committed to ensuring that local communities have ongoing opportunities to enjoy the fields, outdoor courts, play equipment and open space our school offer.
Visit our Share Our Space webpage for information and locations in our ongoing Share Our Space holiday program.
The trial is being held in 2025 during Term 1 and Term 2 across several schools. The schools and the days each is open will vary as we work to ensure school use and existing community activities are not disrupted. So always check the times first, on the table below.
