Albion Park High School
Albion Park High School is a high quality comprehensive high school situated on attractive and expansive grounds. We offer a very broad curriculum including a full range of CAPA subjects and Extension 1 and 2 courses in English and Mathematics. Founded in 1991, the school has established a reputation for outstanding programs supporting academic, sporting, cultural and interpersonal development. The school fosters the values of global citizenship, inclusion and tolerance. Students are encouraged to take on new challenges and strive for their personal best. The school's core values are; Respect, Responsibility and Commitment. Albion Park High School promotes programs of excellence in all school endeavours including a wide range of elite sports programs. In addition, the school promotes a wide range of performing arts activities providing opportunities for Drama, Dance and Music students to perform at local, regional and state levels. The school has an ABC (Above Beyond and Committed) class for academically able students in Years 7 and 8 and works closely with the local Community of Schools to ensure that these placements are appropriate. Albion Park High School is considered a leader in Vocational Education pathways and programs. The school has the Parkside Centre which includes two regional ED (Emotional Disturbance) classes and a regional suspension centre Albion Park High has a high quality Special Education unit for students with intellectual disabilities in the IM, AU and IO range.
