Elizabeth Macarthur High School
Elizabeth Macarthur Selective and Community High School is situated at Narellan, a fast growing semi rural area south-west of Sydney. It has been parially selective since 2010. The school draws students from rural areas to the west and the urban areas immediately surrounding the campus. The school has developed an excellent reputation, particularly in the areas of Creative and Performing Arts and Agriculture. Elizabeth Macarthur Selective and Community School values teachers with a high degree of professional practice who view themselves as lifelong learners and view the wellbeing of students as paramount. The school not only offers traditionally academic courses but also allows students to mix Vocational Education Courses through the Macarthur Trade training centre and TAFE as well as School Based traineeships. Elizabeth Macarthur High School is an award-winning high school that was the birthplace of the program 'Eat it Work it Move it'. This program has since been adopted by schools across the country to improve the wellbeing of students and staff through healthy eating and exercise.
