Dubbo College Delroy Campus

Dubbo College Delroy Campus was established in 1980 and became part of the multi-campus Dubbo College in 2000. It is situated in West Dubbo. The school is co-educational and offers a wide curriculum offering to students in Years 7 to 9. It has excellent facilities and strong links with partner primary schools. Teaching programs have been specially developed to cater for students in the middle years of school. Forty seven percent of the student population is Aboriginal. The school is part of the Priority School Funding program. Delroy Campus has a support unit that caters for a variety of educational needs. Students are encouraged to understand and tolerate individual differences and to become independent, responsible and successful learners. Leadership opportunities are offered through the School Student Council and there are pastoral care programs to support students and their families. Students have the opportunity to perform in the School Band as well as the College Band, which performs at a wide variety of school, town and regional venues. There are excellent transition programs for students entering Year 7 and those moving to the Senior Campus.
