Crookwell High School

Crookwell High School is a rural comprehensive high school with an enrolment of approximately 250 students located in the Southern Tablelands area of New South Wales. The school has a proud record of achievement academically, in sport and in the creative and performing arts. The school promotes the attainment of high personal standards in pursuit of excellence within a caring environment. A varied curriculum is offered that includes EVET and Distance Education courses to ensure that the academic needs of all students are catered for. Numerous extra-curricular programs are offered to students in order to meet their physical, mental and socio-cultural needs. Crookwell High School has strong links with its community of schools and enjoys strong community support. The school boasts an active student leadership and wellbeing program focusing on developing responsible and respectful students and addressing the particular needs of rural students. The Quality Teaching Framework is embedded in teaching programs and classroom practice across the school and personalising learning, including the setting of targets, is supported by constant feedback, assessment for learning and reporting to parents.
