This school’s intake area has changed
As communities grow and change, the department sometimes needs to adjust local enrolment intake areas. These changes help keep enrolments balanced across schools and make sure every student can access high-quality public education in well-resourced, supportive learning environments.
The intake area is viewable via School Finder .
Families affected by this change are guaranteed enrolment at their new local school.
Information on enrolment availability for other nearby non-local public schools is also available via the new School Finder tool.
Transition periods are in place for some families depending on their location of residence. Some families are considered local to both Pennant Hills High School and Muirfield High School for the 2026 school year with the option to enrol at either.
From 2027 the transition period will end, and families will be guaranteed enrolment at their new local school.
Some families will be considered local to both Pennant Hills High School and Carlingford High School with the option to enrol at either.
You can check which schools are available to you for local enrolment by searching for your home address in the School Finder site.
