Engadine High School
Engadine High School is a large comprehensive high school located south of Sydney. We balance our relentless focus on improving student academic outcomes with a rich and diverse program of extra curricular opportunities. Our students have opportunities to attain both academic and cultural success in a supportive and caring environment where they learn to become resilient, confident citizens. Our emphasis on quality teaching and the effective integration of technology into learning are significant aspects of our curriculum. Our Support Unit consists of four classes and caters for students with mild intellectual disabilities who study individual programs. We have a strong tradition of excellence in performing arts including dance and drama ensembles, vocal groups, concert and stage bands and a long history of success in Rock Eisteddfod, Wakakirri and School Musicals. Our students participate in a wide range of sports in which we have been competitive at State level. We are proud of our four prestigious Director-General Awards for Learning, Performing Arts and Linkages with our local Primary schools from which we draw most of our students. We recognise the Ongoing Custodians of the lands and waterways where we work and live. We pay respect to Elders past and present as ongoing teachers of knowledge, songlines and stories.
